This is a great tool for small breeds or puppies that need to become accustomed to the grooming process. It can be used when the coat is wet or dry. When the coat is dry, the rubber pins gently massage the skin to stimulate oils for a shiny, healthy coat. Used wet, the rubber pins massage the shampoo in to the dog's coat, increasing its effectiveness and relaxing the dog's muscles.
